Pension Scam Victims Lose An Average Of £91,000 each in 2017







Worrying news from Money Marketing today(14/08/2018) - sharing the latest figures of monies lost to pension scam schemes in 2017.

Even more worrying is the result of a survey by regulators which makes clear that many pension savers do not know how to spot a scam.

In our experience some schemes that have caused concern have offered unregulated investments via Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs). Some examples that we have acted against include: Ethical Forestry - especially south american forests, "green" crops etc.; store pods, car parking spaces, hotel bedroom scams, and offshore unregulated property schemes.
